The beginning of it all
James and I are from very different professional backgrounds which shared a common issue: progress was hard to see.
We both cared deeply about what we did, but we missed having something tangible as the end result, something you could hold and feel, where the effort and time spent is clear.
So, we started making...
And what was once a small hobby became a big enough passion and source of reprieve.
There's something in there about a flicker turning into a flame.
(No pun intended but we started with candles and fragrances.)
And since then, we always stood by the same philosophy
We like to think we're practical people and that shows in what we make.
We care about pieces being beautiful, but also ergonomic, useful, and genuinely enjoyable to live with.
